Meet The Team

Rocco Esposito

Rocco has led Esposito Insurance Group since 2003, taking over from his mother, Josephine, who founded the agency in 1979. He works across personal and commercial lines, focusing on tailoring coverage and clear, honest advice. Rocco believes that good service begins – not ends – when a policy is issued, and he ensures that clients always receive responsive, personal attention, never an automated reply. Rocco serves on the board of the South Jersey Real Estate Investors Association, advising members on property and liability risk. Prior to joining EIG, he was CTO at Hunter Douglas and Maidenform. He holds an engineering degree and an MBA from Rutgers.

Madeline Santana

Madeline joined EIG in 2007 and has since become one of the agency’s most experienced agents. Fluent in English and Spanish, she excels in building relationships with clients and finding the right coverage to protect both assets and families. She is also the agency’s lead for life insurance and values the close-knit collaboration that allows her and her coworkers to resolve complex needs.

Millet Cespedes

Millet joined EIG in 2021 and is often the first person clients speak to when calling or visiting the agency. She handles incoming communication, policy changes, mortgage requests, and day-to-day service tasks with accuracy and professionalism. She is a licensed agent, fluent Spanish speaker, and has prior experience in health insurance billing and banking. Her versatility and calm demeanor make her a key part of the office.

Rocco Genova

Rocco joined EIG in 2015 and works part-time as an agent, providing personal and commercial lines coverage. His background in human resources, telecommunications, and recruiting has shaped his strengths in communication, service, and follow-through. Rocco is also known for being highly responsive and is focused on client satisfaction.

John Ortega

John has been with Esposito Insurance Group since 2004 and is a personal lines agent specializing in home, auto, and specialty vehicles, including boats and classic cars. Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, he’s a go-to resource for complex service cases and a trusted advisor for long-term clients. In addition to his work with clients, John manages the agency’s IT systems and ensures smooth operations behind the scenes. He appreciates EIG’s efficient, no-red-tape approach to helping clients quickly and directly.

Patrick Barr

Patrick is one of the agency’s newest agents and quickly established himself as a key contributor in commercial quoting, underwriting, and business development. He enjoys the analytical side of risk assessment and takes pride in helping clients secure strong coverage at competitive rates. Patrick holds a degree in finance from Fordham University where he played football for four years. He is passionate about building long-term relationships and growing EIG’s client base.

Matthew Cherico

Matthew joined EIG in 2017 and works remotely from his home in Colorado. He specializes in complex service and billing issues and is known for his clear communication and attention to detail. Matthew enjoys being part of a small, collaborative team and values the ability to connect with clients one-on-one each day. He holds degrees in English and literature and brings prior experience in education and customer service.

Allison Lawhorn

Allison began working at EIG in 2007 while still in college and quickly discovered a passion for the insurance industry. After becoming licensed, she took on increasing responsibility and now plays a central role in the agency’s operations. She specializes in commercial closings and policy summaries, and is known for her speed, precision, and ability to manage high volumes of work. Allison also supports various departments, helping deliver personalized services across the board.

Rich Rickards

Rich has served clients at EIG since 2017, writing personal, commercial, and real estate policies. Having lived in South Jersey his entire life, he brings local insight to his clients and is particularly skilled at explaining policy differences and coverage choices in clear, practical terms. Rich is active in his community, serving on his town’s zoning board, volunteering with the fire department, and co-leading the South Jersey Real Estate Investors Association (SJREIA) Landlording Group.

Isaac Morganstein

Isaac joined Esposito Insurance Group as an Underwriting Assistant, supporting the commercial team with quoting, risk analysis, and client service. With a background in statistics and actuarial science, he brings a thoughtful and data-driven approach to his work. Currently studying for actuarial exams, Isaac is committed to developing a deep understanding of the industry and helping clients secure well-structured, cost-effective coverage solutions.

Marisa Contreras

Marisa is the agency’s receptionist and a vital part of the daily workflow. She ensures clients are promptly connected to the right person and helps maintain smooth office communication. Though new to the insurance world, she brings experience from academic research and administrative roles and is known for being organized, efficient, and welcoming.
